The works for this exhibition share common recent themes:
Portraiture both the surreal and symbolic.
Myths and Idols...Goddess, Madonna, Diva....
Identity - particularly as concerns the traveller or immigrant.
The fragility and brevity of life.
Linda uses muses from her daily life... daughters, friends, and occasionally famous faces. Most are women because she says they speak a narrative which is essentially her reaction to the world. Cats and birds are representative of relationship and struggle on many levels.
